Volition When Stripe is connected, every invoice you email includes an online payment link — patients pay by card and the invoice is marked paid automatically.
Go to Settings → Integrations → Stripe. You’ll see two options.
Create a new Stripe account if you don’t have one — click Create new account and complete Stripe’s hosted onboarding (business details, bank account for payouts). You’ll be returned to Volition when it’s done.
Connect my existing Stripe account if your practice already uses Stripe — click Connect existing account and authorise Volition through Stripe’s sign-in flow.
Back in Volition, the status card should show Active with green ticks for Accept payments and Receive payouts. If onboarding is incomplete, click Continue onboarding to finish it.
Check Settings → Online Payments to confirm the “Pay online” link is ready — it’s added automatically to invoice emails from now on.
Card fees are Stripe’s standard rates (around 1.75% + 30c for domestic cards). Volition doesn’t take a cut of your payments.
Online payments appear on the invoice like any other payment, with the method Stripe (Online), and move the invoice to Paid automatically.
